The image of Clint Eastwood in his poncho, from films like High Plains Drifter and the Dollars Trilogy, has become an enduring symbol of the spaghetti western genre. These films, directed by Sergio Leone in the 1960s, redefined the western with a gritty, stylized edge. They were called "spaghetti westerns" because they were largely made by Italian directors and crews, often shot in Spain, and they gave us a new kind of anti-hero: tough, silent, morally ambiguous, and always cool.
In these prints, I’m remixing that legendary image of Eastwood into something new and vibrant. The Print With No Name series is all about that mix of old-school cinema iconography and modern pop art. Each print is a hand-finished piece of art, with layers of colour and detail that make it one of a kind.
